How We Started
Visas Association started in 2014 (we have nine years of experience and global expertise).
Our project was born when one of our team members has faced considerable challenges when applying for a tourist Schengen Visa.
Hazel (our team member) is a Philippine citizen living in Australia. In 2013, she believed it would be a great idea to learn more about Europe’s deep-rooted history, the melting pot of cultures, and sheer natural beauty.
“No sooner said than done”, she thought.
Hazel and her fiance packed their suitcases, spent a fortune on flight tickets and hotel bookings (including internal flights), and bought a new camera and several travel guides.
Everything seemed to go smoothly, except she did not know she needed a Schengen Visa for international travel to Europe!
She accidentally found out that she needed to apply for a Visa four weeks before their departure. The application process turned into a nightmare.
She had no idea when and where to apply and what documents were required.
Searching on the Internet seemed useless. Contacting the Embassies was an impossible feat. Getting a Visa attorney was way too expensive (their budget was limited after paying the flight tickets 100% upfront).
Her anxiety spun out of control.
Eventually, she managed to submit her documents on time (thanks to a friend who knew how tricky the process was and gave her expert advice).
She got her Visa affixed to her travel document, travelled to Europe, and fell in love with Rome at first sight.
Hazel and her fiance returned to Australia with one single purpose: to help people avoid the bureaucratic nightmare, endless frustration, and deep confusion when applying for a Schengen Visa!

What CANNOT the Visas Association team do for you?
● Apply for a Schengen Visa in your name
We cannot collect the requested documents and apply for a Schengen Visa in your name.
We would love to make this process even more straightforward, but the Schengen Visa policy and European law do not allow us to submit your documents to the Embassy in your name.
Anyway, we couldn’t do this as hundreds of Schengen Embassies and Consulates are scattered around the globe (and you must apply to a specific Embassy according to your destination country and citizenship).
Moreover, we are not able to collect the required documents in your name (outside of your flight and hotel reservations and Schengen Visa Insurance) as you must request and sign them in person.
● Do the work of a travel agency
Visas Association is a Schengen Visa Services agency providing global coverage for individuals worldwide.
However, we cannot offer you travel tours or packages from various resorts and cruise lines and have the same responsibilities as travel agencies (or provide information about other travel Visas that enable you to enter countries other than the Schengen Countries – e.g., U.S. Visa).
The job of a travel agent is to determine the best possible travel destinations, transportation and accommodation arrangements and provide information such as weather conditions and travel advisories.
Notwithstanding our ability to provide you with some tips and tricks concerning your day-to-day travel itinerary and suggestions for a safe and enjoyable trip, we cannot replace a travel agent.
Our objective is to do everything possible to ensure your legal entry into Europe (by helping you get a Schengen Visa).
To cut a long story short, we cannot get a Schengen Visa on your passport in your name or organise your whole trip to Europe.
However, we promise that your Schengen Visa application process will be smooth sailing from here on.
We will help you avoid the anger and frustration that our community members had felt before contacting us.
